The year 2020 is not like any other we have experienced. The national and international crisis has led to more of cooperation and pressure on all societies where the public debate and its actors have had to find new pathways and take on new positions.
Now more than ever, there is a need for broad talks across all sectors in each country where decision-makers and stakeholders can meet in in-depth discussions on what we have learned, what we can do here and now, and what needs to happen in the near future – whether a continued pandemic or not.
Once again we invite organizations, companies, political parties and other actors of society that want to opt in on the discussion on the future of Sweden, to participate in the digital conference “The Future Arena”, “Framtidsarenan” on February 17-18, 2021. Hold your talks in the format you want, free of charge, or join other organizers with your representatives or experts if there is a match.
Our intention is not to replace other arenas, such as the politician’s week of Almedalen in Visby and the political festival of Järva– but to be a complement and fill the needs of the current situation. A platform for the broad as well as the niche conversations in the same self-organizing spirit that has been the strength of both events for years. Conversations and meetings to form Sweden’s future will be at the center – what we have learned during the year 2020, what we can and need to do now to move forward in the best possible way.
